About Palm Beach RoofCraft

Your local Palm Beach County roofing company.

We’re not a national lead-broker or a general contractor that dabbles in roofs. We’re a licensed Florida roofing contractor and sheet-metal shop — tile, slate, standing-seam metal, and copper — built for one county and fluent in the Town of Palm Beach’s architectural review.

Who we are

One county. Roofing and metal done as a craft.

Palm Beach RoofCraft was built around a simple conviction: the roofs on Palm Beach County’s best homes deserve a contractor who treats roofing and sheet metal as a craft — not a commodity sold by the square — and who actually knows how this county permits, inspects, and reviews a roof.

We don’t pour driveways, remodel kitchens, or chase catch-all “home improvement.” Roofing and metal are the whole business: repairs and full replacements in tile, slate, and shingle; metal and standing-seam roofs; and the copper roofing and copper gutters the island estates are known for. That focus is the difference between a crew that bolts on a roof and one that details it — the flashing, the valleys, the copper bays and dormers — so it lasts and reads right.

A lot of what makes a roof last never shows from the street, which is why we fabricate our own sheet metal. Our shop forms the standing-seam panels, coping, chimney caps, pans, and soldered copper gutters and downspouts a job needs, cut to the building rather than to a stock part. For the historic homes that demand in-kind materials, that in-house metalwork is the whole point — see our roof & metal fabrication.

And we treat your project the way we’d treat a roof on our own street. We pull the permits ourselves, confirm whether your address is city or unincorporated Palm Beach County, prepare any HOA, historic-board, or Town of Palm Beach review, protect your landscaping during the tear-off, and clean up — magnet sweep and all — like we were never there. When the inspector arrives, the paperwork is already in order.

Why local knowledge matters

We roof to the Town of Palm Beach’s ARCOM & Landmarks standards

This is the detail that separates a true island roofer from a directory listing. On the Town of Palm Beach, a roof’s material, color, and profile aren’t just yours to choose — they pass architectural review, and asphalt is routinely denied on the historic estates. A crew that doesn’t work the island will get the submittal, the materials, or the copper detailing wrong.

REVIEW We prepare the ARCOM (Town Code Ch. 18, Art. III) and Landmarks submittals and carry them through the Town’s building inspections — see our island roofing guide.
IN-KIND We restore and replace in clay tile, slate, and copper, the materials the Town expects — salvaging and matching historic tile rather than defaulting to asphalt.
COPPER We fabricate and install copper roofing and soldered copper gutters in our own shop — the century-tested island standard against salt air.
CODE Every re-roof is permitted and inspected to Florida’s high-wind building code — heaviest on the barrier islands and oceanfront — and we hand you wind-mitigation documentation for your insurer.
Why homeowners choose us

Specialists, fabricators, and accountable

Roofing & metal only

We answer our own phone, show up to our own estimates, and stand behind every roof across Palm Beach County. Roofing and sheet metal are all we do — the opposite of a lead handed off to whoever’s cheapest that week.

We fabricate in-house

Standing-seam panels, copper gutters, coping, chimney caps, and flashing are formed in our own shop, cut to your roof. It’s why our metalwork matches the architecture instead of fighting it.

Fluent in island review

ARCOM and Landmarks stop most roofers cold. We prepare the submittals, present in-kind materials, and run the review in parallel with material lead times — see the island guide.

Permits & paperwork handled

We confirm whether your address permits through the city or unincorporated Palm Beach County, pull the permit, meet the inspector, and hand you the wind-mitigation documentation your insurer wants — so nothing slips past you.

Credentials you can actually check

Trust shouldn’t require a leap of faith. Here’s exactly who stands behind your roof — and what to expect when we meet.

We’re a licensed Florida Certified Roofing Contractor carrying general-liability and workers’-compensation insurance, and we’re glad to show you the license and a current certificate of insurance before you sign anything. We register the manufacturer warranties on your roofing and metal in your name, so the coverage follows your home rather than ours.

Your free estimate is a real conversation, not a sales pitch. A local estimator gets on the roof, measures it, and talks through the trade-offs — tile versus metal versus copper, what your HOA or the historic board will approve, and which repairs can wait. You leave with a written quote in plain language and the documentation a wind-mitigation inspection needs. No pressure, no call center, and no surprise line items later.

We quote on-site rather than over the phone because honest roofing pricing depends on the actual roof — its pitch, layers, condition, and the material and copper detailing you choose, plus whatever the Town of Palm Beach, a historic district, or an HOA requires. For how the work itself unfolds, start with roof replacement or the island roofing guide, then book a visit.

Questions about working with us

Is Palm Beach RoofCraft licensed and insured?

Yes. We’re a licensed Florida Certified Roofing Contractor and we carry general-liability and workers’-compensation coverage, so your home and our crew are protected on every job. We pull the roof permit ourselves and meet the inspector at your municipal or county sign-off — you never chase paperwork. Ask to see the license and a current certificate of insurance at your free estimate.

What areas do you serve?

All 11 of the communities we cover across Palm Beach County — from the Town of Palm Beach and West Palm Beach to Boca Raton, Delray Beach, Jupiter, Palm Beach Gardens, and beyond. Because we work one county instead of chasing the whole state, we know the local building divisions, the unincorporated-county jurisdiction lines, and which HOAs and historic boards review a roof. See the full list on our service areas page.

What kind of roofing do you do?

Four things, and we do them well: roof repair and roof replacement in tile, slate, and shingle; metal roofing and standing-seam metal; copper roofing with copper gutters; and custom roof & metal fabrication. Roofing and sheet metal are the whole business — not a sideline to general contracting.

Do you really handle the Town of Palm Beach ARCOM and Landmarks review?

Yes — it’s the reason we exist. Most re-roofs on the island need Architectural Commission (ARCOM) review under Town Code Chapter 18, Article III, and designated landmarks also go before the Landmarks Preservation Commission. We prepare the submittals and product samples, present the in-kind clay tile, slate, or copper the Town expects, and carry the job through the building inspections. Full detail is on our Palm Beach island roofing guide.

Do you fabricate your own copper and sheet metal?

We do. Our own shop forms standing-seam panels, copper and metal flashing, coping, chimney caps, dormer and bay pans, and the soldered copper gutters and downspouts the island estates are known for. Fabricating in-house means the metal matches the architecture instead of forcing the architecture to match a stock part — see roof & metal fabrication.

What does your free estimate include, and does it cost anything?

Nothing — the on-site estimate is genuinely free, with no pressure and no call center. A local estimator gets on the roof, measures it, talks through the right system for your home and any HOA or historic requirements, and leaves you with a written quote in plain language, including the documentation a wind-mitigation inspection needs for possible insurance credits.
